CODE PINK

The hospital has been a lot of fun! Today I got to take part in a Code PINK drill, which means that a baby has been stolen. I was the thief that stole the baby (doll). The lady told me that i needed to walk in to the room where the doll was, put it into my purse, and leave. I was to keep walking until someone stopped me. I ALMOST made it out the hospital, until someone stopped me from O.R. I was soo close that I could see sunlight.

Next week I got the hook ups from L& D to watch a cesarean section!!! I would have been able to see one tonight, but I'm not working...

Yesterday I took my TEAS test for nursing and I don't know the results til Tuesday. I have to wait til January to see if I got in. *crossing my fingers* The hospital has gotten me sooo excited to start my career. Can't I just fast forward 2 years???

HOSPITAL

The process has been a month, and finally I got my schedule to volunteer at a nearby hospital! I'll be working on the surgical floor and i'm excited because I love all the gory gross stuff.I guess that's good since I'll be going into the medical field...

So I'm a lil bored because I'm only taking one class during the summer, espanol.I would write in spainsh, but this thing doesn't do the accent marks. Dang it!!! Today I made SWEET CORN TAMALE CAKES and BBQ Pizza.It was ALL sooo delicious:)Mmmmm

Latley I've been watching cooking shows with my sister (Jennifer), and it got me in the mood to cook since I have time.

Today I graduated from RCC and received an AA & AS degree with distinction. Afterwards we ate pie and mi madre made me a candy gram:)mmmm soo good. hanx mama.Tomorrow I'm going to Utah to hang out with Tammy, Erik, Bailey, and Y-dogg. I'm finally done with school, and waiting to apply to the nursing program in Sept., but in the mean time I'm takingsome classes so I don't get too bored.Spanish in the summer, then my last English and math I'll ever have to take in my LIFE!!!Woo Hoo

GRADUATION!!!

Graduation is a week away and I'm living at school studying for finals.I babysat Courtney and Hunter on Saturday and we had fun making smoothies and doing a photoshoot.This semester needs to be over bc it feels like it's been draggin on forever! 5 more tests to go.

Well school has been going well so far, but I still have finals...one more month of school!!!!!!SwEEt:) And taking breaks from studying keeps me motivated to chugg along. Going to the drive in to see "Ghost from Girlfriends Past", being a new Aunt (again), hanging with Tammy, Erik, and the kids, beach trips, and the occational DAnces! Dying eggs for Easter was AWESOME!!! I haven't dyed eggs in soo long that it brought back memories. Mother's day was way good (the food that is). Love holidays. haha. oh ya, a while back in March some ppl did a lil crawfishing.lol. I've never done this before, but sounded like fun, so i had to try it!! it only took us 1 1/2 hours to find water, no crawfish to be found, but hey it was still fun:)
