FALL
So it's fall and school has started yet once again. My schedule is soo full that I barely have time to sleep. It's crazyiness!! My schedule consists of Anatomy/Physiology, chemistry, speech, and art appreciation. So far I love my science classes, speech is okay, and art appreciation is fun when my teacher isn't going on tangants talking about things I don't really care about. LOL. I got a new calling in church as the secretary in the activities committee. i'm excited because it's something new.

BLASTING!!
So I'm finally here up in Utah!!! Tammy lives in a community that has everything. I get to walk to the gym, which is only a street away. Have a Lake, shopping mall (going to open soon, hopefully), swimming pools; everything you could possibly think of, and the best part... it is all for FREE!! My favorite:)
I'm having such a fun time with the kids, even though they are a handful to deal with.

IT'S A BARBIE WORLD
Barbie is a famous American Icon for tween girls (ages 9-12). Barbie influences people to have the perfect body; legs, waist, bust size. Plastic sugery plays a big role in helping female obtain these measurements. What do you think Barbie is teaching young girls today about their body image. Do you thing Barbie is getting too sexy? Researchers today say if Barbie was a real person she would stand 5-foot-6, weigh 110 pounds and have a 39-inch bust line, an 18-inch waist, and 33-inch hips. She would be an unhealthy size. Is Barbie the reason girls become anorexic in the first place?

I Don't Get It!!
WHY do people tell you that being different is a good thing? Standing out of the crowd makes you an individual because you are not doing what other people are doing. People that have their own style are saying "Hey, I am not doing what the other crowds are doing," but other people who think the person with his or her own style is weird try to help the person get back into the "norm" group.
I just don't get how people tell kids to have their own style to seperate them from the rest of the group, but then try to tear down that person's individualism by putting that person down for having a different style.
People who wear makeup enhance their beauty. Just because that person's eye shadow is dark doesn't mean that they are going gothic or are covering up how ugly they are. Yes, some guys like when girls wear different shades of eye shadow because the girl is a person who has her style.
People who don't have their style aren't individuals and follow the crowd. People rely on their brains while other people can rely on their looks. People who are smart and go through law school always think they know what's best for another person's future. I'm here to tell you people who are smart and go through law school have their right to their own opinion, but why can't they keep it to themselves?
I though while a person is young they are not suppose to fit into the "norm" groups, and it's okay to be considered weird or "peculiar". Why do people who have a differnet style get teared down by the people who can't keep their opinions to themselves?
People want to express their style even if other people don't agree with the style.(you wanted to know what i thought)

FLASHMOBS
My first day of school my psychology teacher was giving his usual leture on welcoming the class to the new school year and what he expects us to do in his class. He goes off on a lot of tangents and this time he was telling the class about flashmobs. An example of a flashmob is when one person gets a group of people and dress in the target colors (red shirt with khaki pants). Then the group goes to target and spreads throughout the store, helping people or whatever. Then a horn blows or some kind of signal so that the group knows whether to freeze in place, or even just suddenly drop to the floor. If you would like to see other flashmobs that other people have done just go to youtube.com
Though i have never done a flashmob, i think it would be hilarious to go into an elevator and see how many people conform to the way a person is facing. Like when you go into an elevator face opposite of the doors, and see how many people you can get to follow your position. what would be even more funny is if you kept moving facing different ways and if the other person in the elevator does follow. I have been wanting to try this for quite some time, expecially in a casino where people are drunk and you could probably get them to do whatever you want, like persuading them into giving you money. Whatever i think i am just bored and hope everone will look up flashmobs because they are SO FUNNY.
How many people conform with society today just to fit in? i have written papers upon papers on this subject and i have come to the conclusion that everyone wants to fit in the "norm" group. Doesn't everyone want to fit into society because they don't want to be labeled as "weird"? what do you think?

YOGA!
well this is my second week of yoga and i am starting to like it!!! i feel soo much better afterwards! my favorite pose has got to be the child's pose and bali seal because they are the most comfortable positions to rest in. my least favorite poses are plank with hip extension and chaturanga; even though, they both work out my abs, they get harder to do. Yoga is very relaxing and that's why i love it soo much!!

My Week
well to start off my classes at RCC started. I am taking psychology, sociology, an online English class, and yoga. It was an "OKAY" week because we did nothing. I started my yoga class, i thought it was going to be an easy class, but after my first day of yoga my body ached like somebody beat me up, and i am trying to recover over the weekend. Tammy's babyshower was on Thursday and it aws fun because i am only really their for the food and to support my sister; of course. Erik, Tammy, and Bailey are own visiting and it has been fun to be able to see them once in awhile. I finally finished the thrid book "Elipse" from the Twilight series and can't wait for the next book and the movie to come out!!!
